In just a few short weeks I’ll have my bags packed and a ticket in hand to head off to the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo with the other independent phone sex girls at Bay City Blues. I can’t wait to spend four whole days hob-nobbing with the glitterati of the porn industry. The nerd in me is super excited to attend all the little workshops and discussions about working in the adult industry. Despite what people may think, it is still work at the end of the day, and independent contractors like myself owe it to ourselves to be as educated as possible on trends in the business. It won’t be all work though. After I’m done networking the shit out of that place (Yes, I am an ambitious little thing) the girls and I are going to have WAY TOO MUCH FUN gambling and enjoying our amazing suite! Oh, and did I mention food? The last time Tonya and I went to Vegas we ate one of the best meals of my life at Thomas Kellers’ Bouchon. I WANT TO GO BACK. Did I mention the amazing spa day we had there as well? Yeah, I definitely want to repeat that. So while I will be hard at work, trying to think of new ways to make Bay City Blues the number one Independent Phone Sex company out there, I will also be playing just as hard. And don’t I deserve it? I think so.
